Commonly asked questions:
Are you mobile? Yes, we can come to you for a minimum of 4 people and (from) $120 local call out fee.
You are more than welcome to come to our salon however please note we only have a small space and we will have other clients in at the same time.
Can you do hair & makeup? Yes, we can have one artist for makeup and one hair stylist for you.
How many people can you do? 7-10 depending on what time you all need to be done by.
What is your cost? Makeup - from $125 for bridal and from $115 pp for bridesmaids and mum.
Hair - From $90 pp

Which goes first? Hair or makeup? We don't have preferences. whichever works for you.
What time do I need to start and be finish by? The earliest we can start is 5am and we recommend finishing at least 2 hours before ceremony time for the just in case moments. You also need to include times to eat, photos, calm nerves, get dressed and travel time etc.

Group bookings & Weddings
Booking & Cancellation:
A 50% deposit secures your group booking. While deposits are non-refundable, we understand unforeseen circumstances can arise.
- Changes? With 5 months' notice, your deposit can be credited towards a future booking.
- Less Than 5 Months' Notice? Deposits become non-transferrable and non-refundable.
We Value Your Business:
Our terms and conditions may seem strict to some. However, consider that when you reserve your special date, we dedicate that day and a significant amount of our time exclusively to you. In some cases, we may have reserved your date a year in advance.
During this time, other potential clients may have contacted us wanting to book your date, and we have kindly declined them to accommodate you.
Cancellation of a group booking can significantly impact our small business, as it's not always easy to fill the void on short notice.

you CANNOT have cosmetic tattooing..

What is cosmetic tattooing?
Is a process of implanting coloured pigment into the dermis layer of the skin by tiny, sterile, disposable needles to produce the appearance of hair strokes, makeup or to enhance the natural features of the face.
How long will it last?
Cosmetic tattoo is semi permanent which will last from 12-18 months depending on skin type. Lighter colour pigment fades faster, liftstyle (sun exposure) and if any chemicals peels come into contact with treated area
Is it paintful?
A topical anesthetic cream and gel are used for numbing during your procedure. Pain thresholds vary from each individual person and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable however a little discomfort is to be expected.
How many appointments in needed?
A minimum of 2 appointments is needed at least 4-6 weeks apart. Everyone heals differently and at different rates. The colour looks dramatically lighter after the first week. if your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly the first time, do not worry, you can always go darker and add more definition at your next appointment.
What to do before the procedure;
- Do not pick, tweeze, wax, perform electrolysis one week before
- Do not tan, get sunburnt or tanning beds at least 20 days BEFORE and AFTER the procedure. As your skin exfoliates from a sunburn it will take the pigment with it.
- Do not get any type of facials 2 weeks prior
- Do not exercise the day before the procedure
- Do not DRINK ALCOHOL 24-48 hours prior
- Do not consume COFFEE before the procedure
- Do not take any aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief at least 48-72 hours
How will you look immediately after?
Your semi permanent makeup will appear dark and ore intense than expected in the first few days. This will gradually lighten during the healing process. Redness and swelling is normal but minimal.

Whats included?
A 30 mins consultation, face measurement, custom brow or lip design, custom pigment colour match, topical anaesthetic, after care balm and instructions.
It will take roughly 2-3 hours for the first brow appointment and 3-4 hours for the first lip appointment.
Touch up appointment needed 4- 6 weeks after at $150 cost for brows.
6-8 weeks weeks after at $150 for lips.
After the procedure:
Gently blot the area with a clean soft tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5-10 minutes until the oozing has stopped. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymphatic fluids.
Depending on your skin type, your tattooist will provide after care instructions as everyone is unique.
Always wash hands thoroughly before touching or applying the after care balm.
- use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep
- let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Do not rub pick or scratch the treated area.
- Picking can cause scarring or loss of colour.
- No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for at least 4 weeks.
- Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week. Limit your showers to 5 minutes so that you do not create too much steam.
- Keep face area out of the water while you wash your body.
- avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after. wear a hat when outdoors.
- Avoid swimming or hot tubs for 10 days.
- Avoid makeup and sunscreen for 10 days.
- Highly wearing sunscreen over the area once they finish flaking off.

Individual Booking Scheduling:
- All bookings are conveniently made online at www.yourcanvas.com.au, accessible 24/7 for your scheduling ease.
Deposit & Confirmation:
- To secure your appointment, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit confirms your commitment and allows us to allocate time effectively.
Cancellation Policy:
- We understand unforeseen circumstances may arise. To ensure fairness to all clients, we kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice for appointment cancellations.
- With 48 hours' notice, your deposit will be converted into a credit applicable to a future booking.
- Unfortunately, cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will result in 100% deposit forfeiture.
- In the case of late cancellations, simply rebook online at your convenience with a new deposit.
Please Note:
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, including COVID-19 related issues, event cancellations, or adverse weather conditions.

We strive to provide exceptional service and dedicate our time to each client. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we kindly request your adherence to our appointment policy.
Late Arrivals:
- Courtesy Call or Message: If you anticipate running late, please contact us immediately at 0483 846 947. We are also on our socials but remember social media isn’t always reliable and could have message delays.
- Limited Accommodation: We understand unforeseen circumstances. However, significant delays may affect our ability to complete your entire service.
- Full-Service Charge: Late arrivals will be subject to the full-service fee.
No-Shows & Cancellations:
No-show fees are easily avoidable with a simple notification. A text message is perfectly acceptable. However, if we don't receive any communication from you regarding a missed appointment, a 100% service fee will be applied.
- Advance Notice Required: Cancellations or rescheduling require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. This allows us to adjust our schedule accordingly.
- Missed Appointments: Uncommunicated no-shows will be charged the full-service fee.
- Repeated Offenses: Consistent late arrivals or no-shows may result in restricted booking privileges (requiring pre-payment or temporary blocking of future bookings).
